WHAT: USARS/AAU Referee Certification Clinic
WHEN: Sunday, August 28th, 2011
TIME: 9:00AM – 3:00PM (may finish sooner)
WHERE: Courtyard by Marriott - Cary, NC (102 Edinburgh Drive South, Cary, NC)
There is NO on-rink session this year
COST: $35 – check or money order made out to "AAU Hockey" – DO NOT BRING CASH
PREPARATION: Complete AAU Registration at: https://secure.aausports.org/aaustore/register/nonathlete2.asp and either Login if you are a returning member or create a new account if you are a new member.
Program: Select "Youth Program" if you are under 18 and and select "Adult Program" if you are 18 or older
Membership Term/Category: Select the first option – "Membership expires August 31, 2012, Added Benefit
Membership, 16.00"
Sport: Select "Hockey"
Club Name: Dream Sports Center
Club Code: Leave blank
BRING A PRINTED COPY OF YOUR AAU MEMBERSHIP CARD TO THE CLINIC FOR ME TO KEEP
WHAT TO BRING:
Per above, bring a copy of your AAU Membership Card
The clinic will start promptly at 9:00AM. Please arrive early to complete registration. If you do not attend the clinic, you will be required to attend a make-up clinic or a clinic in another city. Otherwise, you will NOT be eligible to referee at DreamSports or in AAU/USARS events for the 2011-12 season. You MUST be in attendance for the entire clinic (no exceptions) – from beginning until end. If you cannot attend the entire clinic, it will not count as seminar attendance (which is a required component of USARS/AAU certification).
