For Mites & Squirts Come to Minnesota

Former NHL player Mike Hartman and Michigan’s Coaching Chief Paul Lubansky to speak at Seminar March 6th.

The AAU Hockey Program is proud to announce our Inaugural National Championships in Edina and Eden Prairie, MN for the Mite and Squirt Divisions.  These Championships will be Hosted by AAU Hockey and Minnesota Made Hockey March 6th – March 9th, 2014.  No admittance fee will be charged at the rinks. 

There are teams from eleven (11) states competing in four (4) divisions.  For the complete schedule, please go to www.aauicehockey.org.

The athletes, coaches, and parents will all attend the 25th Annual “Let’s Play Hockey Consumer Expo” at the River Centre on Friday or Saturday depending on their pool play schedule.  Several exhibitors at the expo will be presenting all the athletes with a free bag, t-shirts, and other merchandise.  Several teams have indicated they will catch a Minnesota Boy’s State High School Tournament hockey game, and others plan on attending the Minnesota Wild game Sunday evening, March 9th against the St. Louis Blues.

The AAU Hockey, Baseball, Softball, and Lacrosse programs will exhibit at the “Let’s Play Hockey, Baseball, and Softball Consumer Expo.”  The AAU Sports program established in 1888 has 650,000+ athletes, and over 50,000 coaches, officials, and volunteers in 40+ sports.  Please visit www.aausports.org for more information.

AAU Presents Mike Hartman and Paul Lubanski at the AAU Mites & Squirts Championships – St. Paul, MN – River Centre

National Hockey League veteran Mike Hartman – AAU National Hockey Development Director and Paul Lubanski – AAU Michigan Coaching Director, will speak on March 6th at the St. Paul River Centre – Meeting Room #5 (175 West Kellogg Blvd., St. Paul, MN 55102)

9:00 AM -  10:15 AM – Hartman:  “A Roadmap to Becoming Your Personal Best”

10:20 AM – 11:30 AM – Lubanski:  “How to Improve Our Team Organically – Immediately”

Hartman, who won a Stanley Cup as a member of the New York Rangers, will speak at 9:00 AM and outline his personal “Against All Odds” story of perseverance, commitment, and success.  

Lubanski, lauded author, youth hockey expert, professional skills instructor, and highly regarded motivational speaker.
