The Collegiate Hockey Federation (CHF), who recently joined the ranks of AAU Ice Hockey, is set to host the inaugural CHF Federation Cup in West Chester, Pennsylvania on March 10-15.
This event marks the national championship of the 2019-2020 collegiate season, bringing approximately 20 teams from ten different states to compete head-to-head for the title.
The Federation Cup will start with a pool play tournament over the initial three days (March 10-12), resulting in an Elite Eight, Final Four and National Championship over the weekend. A full list of event schedules are available at https://www.chfhockey.net/pages/FEDCUP_Info.
Additionally, the CHF is embracing the AAU’s mission of ‘Sports For All, Forever,’ in hosting an All-Star Challenge showcase event during the national tournament for a select group of players from teams who did not qualify for the Cup. The CHF hopes to give the experience of playing in national tournament to all those selected.
All games are live streamed on Black Dog Hockey, and box scores can be found here. For more information about the CHF league visit www.chfhockey.net, or about AAU Ice hockey visit http://www.aauicehockey.org.
This is the inaugural season for the Collegiate Hockey Federation covering over 80 collegiate club hockey programs, where the Federation Cup is the new collegiate national championship tournament.
